Structure & Pay Scale
OSSSC offers an attractive salary package as per the 7th
Pay Commission, along with Dearness Allowance (DA), HRA, and other

Guard:
₹19,900 – ₹63,200 (Pay Matrix Level-4) - Excise

In addition to basic pay, selected candidates are entitled
to allowances such as DA, TA, HRA, medical benefits, pension benefits, and
paid leave.

- Forester:
+2 Science from a recognized board with basic computer knowledge
- Forest
Guard: Passed High School Certificate (10th)
- Excise
Constable: Passed +2 Examination or equivalent
Odia Language Requirement
Candidates must be able to read, write, and speak Odia,
and must have passed Odia as a subject in school or cleared the prescribed Odia
language test.
