Details
The number of vacancies for Agniveervayu posts will
be decided state-wise based on service requirements. Final selection
will be strictly based on state-wise merit and availability of
vacancies.
The induction of female candidates will be determined purely
on service requirements.

Criteria
Educational Qualification
For Science Subjects
Candidates must fulfill any one of the following:
- Passed
Intermediate/10+2 with Mathematics, Physics, and English,
securing:
- Minimum
50% marks in aggregate
- Minimum
50% marks in English
OR
- Passed
3-year Diploma in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics,
Automobile, CS, IT, Instrumentation) with:
- 50%
aggregate marks
- 50%
marks in English (Diploma or Matric level)
OR
- Passed
2-year Vocational Course with Physics & Mathematics and 50%
marks in aggregate and English
For Other Than Science Subjects
- Passed
10+2 in any stream with 50% aggregate and 50% marks in English
OR - Passed
2-year Vocational Course with required marks
Candidates eligible for Science Subjects can appear for
both exams in one sitting.
